CORONARY ANGIOGRAPHY

The coronary angiography is a diagnostic method that includes the selective catheterization of the coronary arteries. It examines the anatomy and patency of the coronary arteries (or their narrowing and clogging), as well as the catheterization of the right and left chambers of the heart that provide information about the functionality of the valves and the heart overall.

It is an extremely useful tool for the documentation or theexclusion of the coronary heart disease, as well as of a host of other related and acquired disorders of the heart and its valves.
